A
ARTISTIC CREATION = derived specialization specific to the human species, generated by a series of fundamental and secondary specializations such as curiosity, sex or independence. The artistic creation expresses in free forms or very vaguely regulated individual or group attitudes (schools or artistic trends), linked to the exercise of the enumerated specializations.

AVERSION TO PAIN = secondary specialization strongly linked to the security specialization. It ensures the awareness of the active attitude of any living CAP of avoidance and rejection of any physical aggressions to which is submitted.

C
COMPLEX ASSOCIATIVE PHENOMENON = term which defines all forms of manifestation of the universal matter, from the elementary particles to galaxies or the human species. The defining characteristics of any CAP are therefore associativity (the feature of participating at the elaboration of a superior level CAP, after being generated by the combining of some inferior level CAPs) and complexity (accumulation and combining of the CAP specific features which preceded them).

CULTURE = fundamental specialization of any CAP composed of a human community, with its aspects:
    a. functional - relations established with the environment, and the whole range of artifacts which mediates these relations (part of material culture);
    b. structural - relations established between individual CAPs which form the researched human community (part of spiritual culture)
Culture can be defined through a generic pyramid.→GENERIC PYRAMID.

CURIOSITY = specialization strongly linked to the security specialization, which defines the specific attitude of any CAP alive and endowed with mobility and reflexivity of actively knowing the environment in which exists.

D
DOMINATION OF OTHERS = specialization which can be defined as POWER, strongly linked to the security specialization, but having an extension in the sphere of content and of the other fundamental specializations (food and reproduction). In a word, the individual CAP which has the power in its community of reference has not only a high level of security, but also a primary access to feeding and reproduction.

F
FAMILY = super-individual CAP of which specialization is the insurance of the fundamental specialization of the individuals (security, reproduction, food).
    Security: family home, family spirit (the pre-eminence of the family concerning any moral or legal instance), common wealth with controlled transmission;
    Reproduction: easy sex life, certain descent (transmission of genes ensured), protection of biological descendants;
Food: objective specialization (OBJECTIVE SPECIALIZATION) which facilitates the obtaining of food.
In the liberal contemporary world family has a strong emotional meaning, based primarily on the sexual attraction, and on the feeling of love associated to this. Along history it benefited of an almost exclusive primate the direct insurance of the fundamental specializations.

FAMILY LIFE = secondary specialization present on different levels of the living matter organization, and widely spread among the human species.
Family life has the role to facilitate the realization of the fundamental species of the individuals who participate in the family life: security, food, reproduction. In the case of humans, at whom sexual activity is much different from simple reproduction, family is also a privileged environment of this activity. At the same time, family life is also an environment of strong intensification of the saving specialization action, through the optimized administration of resources (home, food, different utilities, entertainment).

FEAR OF REJECTION = secondary specialization characterized by the fear of loosing the protection provided by the family, group or community which he belongs to. During the evolution of the human species the fear of rejection has had a very important role, being one of the levers with which has been acted on the individual to limit his initiative and independence.

FEEDING = fundamental specialization of any alive CAP, which consists in the searching, obtaining and assimilation of those quantities of useful influxes (energetic, substantial and informational) which enable the perpetuation of the physical existence of the respective CAP.

H
HONOR = secondary specialization which constitutes itself in a regulating mechanism of the human behavior regarded in the light of the other specialties.
Honor constituted in every cultures and eras the privileged mechanism of evaluation and appreciation of the human behavior. Generally, it was considered “honorable” that behavior which corresponded to the GENERIC PYRAMID of the respective era.

I
INDEPENDENCE = secondary specialization which results from the action of the fundamental specializations at individual level. It gets into opposition with other secondary specializations, such as social contacts, family life, order and civil spirit, and it is eventually only the affirmation, variable depending on the person, of the pre-eminence of the individual rights upon the collective rights.

INTELLECTUAL CREATION = derived specialization specific to the human species, generated mainly by secondary specializations such as curiosity, or independence. In the field of the individual creation we include especially philosophy and science. Philosophy, despite the rigor of the discourse, is close to the artistic creation as freedom of action, each remarkable philosopher being unique and unrepeatable. Philosophy institutionalizes independence. Instead, science (we comprise under this generic term countless domains of specific knowledge in which the human curiosity is exercised) has professional deontological rigors clearly defined, well known to the public. Science institutionalizes curiosity.

L
THE LAW OF DECREASIBILITY (THE DEGRESIVITY LAW) = the favorable action of the environment on a CAP is diminishing proportionally to the increase of the inputs to the system. (Var) The increase of useful influx beyond a certain limit leads to the proportional decrease of the performance of the CAP.

THE LAW OF MINIMALITY (THE MINIMALITY LAW) = the development of a CAP is conditioned by that useful element of the environment that is available in the smallest quantity.

THE LAW OF OPTIMALITY (THE OPTIMALITY LAW) = the existence of a CAP is possible only between certain limits of intensity of the substantial, energetic and informational flows. (Var) The functioning of a CAP is optimal at the optimum level of the useful inputs. The extremities of the useful range are minimum and pessimum.

THE LAW OF THE LIMITATION OF THE GLOBAL PERFORMANCE (GLOBAL PERFORMANCE LIMITATION LAW) = in every moment of their existence CAPs are submitted to momentary and global limitations of their performance.

THE LAW OF SPECIALIZATION (THE SPECIALIZATION LAW) = every CAP is the result of and is submitted to a wide process of structural and functional specialization.

N
NEED FOR ORDER = secondary specialization generated by the need for security and by the specializations related to it. The need for order can only be imagined by the man in a SECURE ENVIRONMENT. And the process of making secure the environment pushed man toward an important number of OBJECTUAL SPECIALIZATIONS, most diverse, starting with the building of houses and fortifications, and finishing with the espionage.

P
PHYSICAL EXERCISE = secondary specialization which consists in the inborn impulse of performing physical activities. Even if, in the case of human species, especially of its most developed sector, this specialization may seem an atavism, the usefulness and the benefic effect on the body can not be disputed. The high level physical shape, which enabled and which contributes also nowadays to a large extent to the obtaining of security and food, as well as the success in activities such as social contacts, sex, curiosity, constitutes one of the fundamental coordinates of our biological existence.

PLEASURE = physiologic mechanism, with intense positive reflection in the human psychic, of rewarding the act of carrying out a specialization. The intensity and the priority degrees of the pleasures brought by the achieving of the diverse specializations is tightly correlated with the structure of the individual pyramid (e.g. feeding will not bring any pleasure to the person obsessed with the care of his/her own silhouette in order to obtain social prestige).

POETRY = derived specialization characterized by the metaphoric expression and the communication with the help of words, generated by a diffuse interpenetration of fundamental and secondary specializations. Poetry is the privileged way of expression of the feelings generated by the amorous states and by the reflection of reality through contemplation.

POWERDOMINATION OF OTHERS

PYRAMID = visual representation of the specializations of a CAP.
BASIC PYRAMID = individual pyramid characterized by the pre-eminence of the fundamental specializations and of the secondary specializations strictly associated to those. It characterizes both, a large part of the primitive cultures, as well as a large part of the individuals in the contemporary society.
GENERIC PYRAMID = pyramid specific to a certain stage in the evolution of a culture or civilization. It can serve to the analyses and classification of the distinct stages and forms of evolution of the super individual CAP, which is the human society.
INDIVIDUAL PYRAMID = pyramid which defines the structure and the functioning of any individual CAP.
REVERSE PYRAMID = individual pyramid characterized by the pre-eminence of the secondary and derived specializations. In every era, with specific structures, the reverse pyramid characterizes the creative non-obedient individuals, who ignore the fundamental specializations in order to fulfill their destiny of creation.

R
RELIGION = derived specialization, generated by secondary specializations such as power, order, fear of rejection, independence. Religion is characterized by ecstatic submissive experiences to an idealized essence considered superior to man , towards whom is transferred the attribute of supreme power, which defines and decides the cosmic order, which is good and hospitable for all subjects, and to which it is worth submitting unconditionally (renunciation on independence and the appearance of the free will theory).

REPRODUCTION = fundamental specialization of any alive CAP, which consists in the engendering of a new alive CAP having the same structure of the specializations (the same INDIVIDUAL PYRAMID). Along with the appearance of sexual differentiation, reproduction has taken the shape of a search, intimacy and union with a view to reproduction between different sexes individuals, activity known under the name of SEX. In the case of human species we can as well talk about REPRODUCTION or about SEX.

S
SAVING = secondary specialization characterized by the keeping for subsequent consumption of the surplus of useful substances (for men, the saving is often achieved in the form of value equivalent of the useful substances = money). The saving specialization, through the variety present at the level of different individual CAPs, enabled the human species to become sedentary, also the appearance of fortune disparities, and enabled, partially, the social differentiation and the creation of a hierarchy. This specialization constitutes now the essence itself of modern economy. Contemporary man understood that through fierce saving he can undertake all the specialization which determines his existence, starting with security, food and sex and finishing with social prestige or artistic creation.

SECURE ENVIRONMENT = environment which has security attributes perceptible by the individual or by the society. The most secure environment is the predictable one, in which the evolutions are known by the way of experience due to their repeatable character. In such an environment man can understand the causal rapports, can build concepts and categories which facilitate the integration into the environment and the obtaining of the security.

SECURITY = fundamental specialization which consists in the ensuring of the physical survival of a CAP. It is the strongest fundamental specialization, having a primate over the food specialization, as well as over the reproduction specialization. In other words, these two fundamental specializations can become primary only in special situations, and for short periods (even if an animal obtains food by jeopardizing its security, it will try to re-establish it as soon as the feeding is achieved). Security can be characteristic only for individual CAPs endowed with mobility, so having the capacity of active investigation of the environment in which he exists. Plants, for example, can have just passive actions of ensuring the individual integrity (a certain level of resistance to aggressions), while the security of the species is ensured by the number and concentration of the individuals.

SEX = typical activity of intimacy and genes transfer between opposite sex members of the same species, with the purpose of responding to the reproduction specialization. In the case of human species sex became an activity much different from reproduction, primarily submitted to the imperative of obtaining pleasure, in such a way that sex can be done with great success between individuals of the same sex. →REPRODUCTION.

SOCIAL CONTACTS = secondary specialization specific to living matter, which manifests through the tendency of creating communities with a view of ensuring security, access to food and reproduction. Social contacts are the expression in the field of matter endowed with life (→LIFE) of the associativeness attribute characteristic of CAP.

SOCIAL PRESTIGE= secondary specialization generated by the combined action of other secondary specializations, such as: domination of others, social contacts, family life, fear of rejection, physical activity, saving. Social prestige is the measure of the degree in which an individual corresponds to the current cultural standards both, as maximum success in one of the domains (wealth, politics, sports), and as achieving an appreciable level of as many as possible of these specializations (the patriarch pattern, family loving and protective, kind with the fellow citizens, fair and thrifty).

SOPHIOLOGY = the science of the most general laws which rule our existence.

SPECIALIZATION = relation which is established between a CAP and its reference environment.
FUNDAMENTAL SPECIALIZATION = relation with the environment which characterizes all the alive CAPs. The fundamental specializations of the living CAPs are security, food and reproduction.
SECONDARY SPECIALIZATION = specializations generated directly by the exercise of the fundamental specializations.
DERIVED SPECIALIZATION = specializations specific to humans, generated by the specific interweaving of the fundamental and secondary specializations actions. Derived specializations recognized by sophiology are poetry, religion, artistic creation and intellectual creation. They have a very complex causality, bounded to the existential anxiety accumulated by the human species, the growing of the insecurity feeling, the generic curiosity of the two-footed species, as well as to the development of the possibility of expressing ideas and concepts with the help of language.
COLLECTIVE SPECIALIZATION = specialization which looks to social aspects of the human existence. Collective specializations are: social contacts, family life, fear of rejection, social prestige, honor, citizenship, order. At least these last four specializations are cultural creations of man (are the result of some conceptualizations, being submitted to the transmission and modification by the way of culture).
FUNCTIONAL SPECIALIZATION = that aspect of the specialization process which concerns the relations which any CAP has with the environment in which exists.
INDIVIDUAL SPECIALIZATION = specialization which concerns the individual aspects of human existence. Individual specializations are: aversion to pain, curiosity, sex, food, power over the others, economy, physical shape, independence, revenge.
In phylogenetic perspective, individual specializations preceded collective specializations, being linked to the functioning of reflex, instinctive mechanisms, specific to the reptilian and mammalian brain.
STRUCTURAL SPECIALIZATION = that aspect of the specialization process which concerns the relations which are established among the diverse component elements of a CAP.
OBJECTUAL SPECIALIZATION = concept defined to design the specializations which are produced within a group or community of living CAPs in the process of following of a generic specialization (for example: individuals which take the responsibility of ensuring the community security while the other members feed themselves).

SPECIES = CAP category which has in common the same structure of the secondary specializations.

T
TRANSLATION = specific psychic mechanism by which an individual undertakes on his behavior, with title of personal cause, the function of keeping and defending of a fundamental or specific specialization of a group or community.
[top]

V
VENGEANCE = secondary specialization specific to humans, which consists in undertaking reparatory and punitive actions against the individuals who breached in any way the right of an individual, of a group or of a community to exercise in an unhampered way the fundamental and the secondary specializations. Vengeance relies primarily on the existence of memory as a way of living again the unpleasant experiences and of anticipation of future. A particular role has the TRANSLATION phenomenon.
