I was born in the little
town of Gherla (Cluj County) in Romania, on 4-th of February 1954. It
was a nice little piece of intercultural community. Born form a
half-Armenian mother and a Romanian father, I grew up among Romanians,
Hungarians and Armenians - a very valuable preparation for accepting and
understanding the differences between human beings. I must point out
that I was endowed from the very beginning of my existence with an
untamed thirst for knowledge. Beginning with the age of four I read
almost everything my family or the clerk from the Public Library from
Gherla were not able to hide from me.
I remember spending the 10-th summer of my existence reading as a novel
the huge four volumes of the Romanian Encyclopedic Dictionary… And it
wasn’t yet over! I was spending three or four of the opening weeks of
each school year on reading carefully every bit of my school books,
memorizing them, and then moving away towards more interesting and
rewarding lectures (science, novels, travels and expeditions,
science-fiction…)
Dreams arrived without delay; I was hoping to become a famous explorer,
an astronomer, or at least a well-known astronaut. But nothing happened.
I was living in a narrow-minded, harsh and materialistic communist
society, which praised rather manual work than intellectual creation.
So I spent my first 35 years of life living as an illegitimate
intellectual amidst workers, running by day the foreign trade department
of a big factory in Cluj-Napoca (one of Romania’s most important towns)
and staying awake by night, body and spirit, eager to continue my quest
for knowledge.
Although I lived under one of the most pervert communist regimes, this
was the way I managed to preserve my intellectual freedom. This enabled
creative openings, like the work entitled “BIOECONOMICS – A New
Border-Science” that I published in 1988 with my dear mentor and
colleague Dr. Viorel Soran, Ph.D.
The Romanian revolution from 1989 brought to me the much expected
freedom of thought and act. After more than 15 years of expectation I
could finally present my thesis on “Economy and Ecology – Terms of a
Cardinal Interrelation for the Future of Humankind”, obtaining in 1999
my title of Ph.D.
The same day (it was the 16-th of April 1999– worth to remember!) I
launched officially the volume “SOPHIOLOGY – A Paradigm of the Human
Destiny”, the most important work of my life, as it marks the birth of a
new science, the “science of wisdom”. I created sophiology as a body of
knowledge that puts into light the basic principles and laws that rule
the existence of atoms, galaxies, daffodils and humans. Sophiology
explains you the Universe the way it is!
It is my present to this world, to my planet and to my thinking
brotherhood of humans that enabled me to wonder, to cogitate and to give
answers to the questions that torture the spirit of everyone of us. This
could become “the science of the first causes and principles” that
Aristotle was looking for more than two millenniums ago.
And it is not over! My spirit is still very young, and the wings of my
soul are lifting me on a larger and larger ascending spiral. There are
still many questions to arise, and even more answers to spell. Perhaps,
one day, we shall discover the ultimate wisdom that no answer is needed…
Meantime, join me in
my journey. Fly with me. Be my flock. |
